From the bright and bold work of Julia Deckman, to the more neutral and moody of Mel Deva, Unbound explores explores a wide variety of styles of pure abstraction. Unbound from realistic representation these artists explore the freedom to express feelings, thoughts, and memories through layers, color, and lines.

This show features 10 artists from across the country including 3 from the southeast. We were excited to introduce 2 artists to the K&K Gallery stable and 2 local LA guest artists. More on them below!

We have two new artists from the southeast in this month's show! 

The first is a sculptor from South Carolina, Ashley Perez! She creates handbuilt sculptural and functional works defined by abstract, organic forms, & tactile surfaces. She plays with fun color combinations and unique textural surfaces! 

The second is an abstract painter from Tennessee, Marcy Parks! Marcy is a self-taught artist whose work starts with a curated color palette, but once she starts painting she lets intuition take over. Her large-scale works inspire a spirit of freedom, play, and joy!
